It's SNOWING!
Woke up this morning to snow flurries. Looked out off the balcony and saw it was snowing in the foothills. They call this termination dust. It is the termination of fall, which was only around 10 days long, and now winter is coming. You watch the snow make its way down the foothills until it comes down to the ground level. We put our snow tires on today too. It's been a crazy week of weather; 2 earthquakes, a wind storm, and now SNOW! Had to light the fireplace today as well. Here are a cople of pictures I took off our balcony this afternoon.

Alaska Update
Sorry, no pictures this week. Just an update as to what has been happening. This past Monday around noon time we had a 4.9 earthquake. I did not feel it, I was in the car going to get lunch.
On Friday, we had a wind storm. We had 40 to 75 mph winds. It was sunny and blue skies. It was so odd coming from hurricanes. In Florida we would have been told to stay inside and it would have been raining and thunder and lightening. Here, everyone was out walking around as if there was nothing going on.
Today, Saturday around 5:00 am we had a 5.3 earthquake. I woke up because I either heard something or felt something but went right back to sleep. Did not even know there had been an earthquake until I heard other people talking about it.
It's starting to get cold. It's funny to see people still walking around in shorts and lip flops when we are buying snow clothes and wearing sweaters, long pants and jackets...LOL
Check in next week.
