We decided to drive into Alberta last night.  It was about an hour before dusk.  This is what we saw.

 This is a herd of Elk.  Ignoring all of us and carrying on.

 A set of twin bear cubs.  They are on an adventure.  Scroll down and see what they are after.

 Their MAMA!!!!!

This bear was walking along behind the guardrail.  I saw him, stopped in the middle of the road, told T. to get the camera, rolled down my window and as soon as I did he smelled us and stood right up checking us out.

Prince George, Canada

 Okay, it did not start out as a very exciting day so we took more pictures of scenery, water, reflections of mountains in the water and the roads.  This is Prince George, British Colombia, Canada though!

 They have a LOT of water.....flooding and running fast!

 They have wooden bridges up there.

 NO shoulders on this highway!
